I had the EXACT same experience! I couldn’t believe I was being accused of cheating, especially after Kaiden’s spiteful conversation on Horizon, the email breaking us up and the situation on Mars. I think at that point, Shephard should have delivered a big “fuck you” to Kaiden, and then a Vega romance plotline should have been opened up, because seriously, why include all the overtly flirtatious dialog with him if it doesn’t go anywhere? In my honest opinion, that dialog was more disappointing than ME3′s ending. It’s bothered me so much that I’m still thinking about it, almost a year after finishing the series!

I feel sorry for you, this game is amazing.
Try to avoid thinking about the violence it might help, but please do me a favor and finish this game the end is amazing !
