Unboxing the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Collector’s Edition Guide

November 17, 2010 By Keri Honea 8 Comments

I think everyone pretty much knew that I was going to declare the Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood Collector’s Edition Strategy Guide as the cover of the week, so this should be no surprise. However, I thought perhaps a nice unboxing photo gallery would be far more fun (or annoying) to show off Prima Games’ and Piggyback Interactive’s latest piece of beauty.

This book wasn’t made by Prima Games, it was made by Piggyback Interactive. Drop me an email, I’d like to chat with you regarding this website. Thanks for considering. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi Steve. I know that Piggyback Interactive wrote the ACB guide, but Prima Games released it over here, so that’s why I mentioned them.

“to show off Prima Gamesโ€™ latest piece of beauty.”

You make it look like the book was made by Prima. Why would you choose your wording like this, if you know the entire book was actually made by Piggyback (of whom you make no mention), instead of Prima (who is only distributing the book)?

As far as I knew, Piggyback wrote the book, not published it. I was under the impression that Prima Games published it. I am sorry to have offended you.

No offense taken at all.. And the book *is* published by Prima Games in the U.S., but that doesn’t mean they created the book. Piggyback has written the book, so it’s their creation. Prima Games only helps spread the book through marketing in the U.S., and has nothing to do with the actual creative production of the book.

Thus, on a website where one reviews strategy guides, one should review the producer/creator of the book, not the publisher. I’d only just like to point out that there’s a big difference between those two. It’s kind of like saying that “The Da Vinci Code” was a great book, a wonderful creation by “Publisher’s Name goes here”. While it might be true that the publisher printed the book and helped spread it, I wouldn’t want to argue that it’s their creation … It was Dan Brown’s ..

Okay, I’ll concede your point there. ๐Ÿ™‚ Will definitely keep that in mind for the future.

You could also just correct the error in your post. ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh fine. Make me make an effort. ๐Ÿ˜‰
