Gaming Resolutions for 2011

December 31, 2010 By Keri Honea Leave a Comment

One thing I always do at the start of the year is declare my video gaming resolutions. This doesn’t mean that I resolve to make more head shots or try to make an honest effort with online gaming. I resolve to finish specific games by the end of the year (not try to, which is very important).

This started a couple of years ago when I vowed to finish both Kingdom Hearts 2 and Twilight Princess in 2008. Little did I realize how much a new baby would take up my time when I made such a vow, so only KH2 made the finish line. Twilight Princess is still sitting on my shelf gathering dust.

As much as Twilight Princess deserves to be on my list this year, I think I can only handle one Zelda game a year, and there’s another one that will take that spot. *coughcoughSkywardSwordcoughcough* But it’s okay. I have so many other games that need that coveted resolution spot.

By the end of 2011, I want to finish the following games:

  • Mass Effect
  • Mass Effect 2 with the caveat that if I hate ME, I’ll forego ME2.
  • Darksiders
  • Red Dead Redemption

I know that this is a considerable amount to try to complete, especially with everything else that is coming out in 2011, but I have a plan. Who knows if it is a good one, but at least I have one.

Happy New Year’s, everyone!
