Free GAME Friday: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (PS4 Only)

final_fantasy_type-0_TGSI received a review copy of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD for work, but I kept my preorder for the Collector’s Edition of the game. The CE contained the original soundtrack, an art book, replicas of Ace’s cards, and an original manga graphic novel about Class Zero. I hemmed and hawed about canceling the preorder, but the more I played the game, the more I realized I wanted the extra goodies. As such, I now have two copies of the game, and since both are Day One editions, I also have two demo codes.

I need to also note that the game and code are for the PlayStation 4 ONLY.

I felt obligated to offer my extras to work, but the love for Final Fantasy is super low with those readers. They have no idea what they’re missing, but their loss is your gain!

This will be another social media contest, and yes, it’s in the US only because I am cheap.

Majora’s Mask Collector’s Edition Strategy Guide Giveaway

I can’t remember the last time I’ve had so many inquiries into when and how I’ll be giving a guide away. YouTube commenters from the unboxing video were particularly insistent. Unfortunately for them, this contest is really for fans of the site, so unless you read here somewhat often, you don’t get to swoop in and win this prize. Not this time, anyway.

So I hope you all watched the unboxing video and took copious notes, because here is how this Free Guide Friday is going to work. Please note, it may not be fair, but them’s the breaks. I’ve held plenty of “fair” contests before giving several days for entries via social media, and it’s time to shake things up with a first come, first served classic race.

Here are the rules:

The Last of Us Remastered Free Guide Friday

TLoU_3D_Covers2It HAS been awhile since we’ve done a Free Guide Friday, hasn’t it? It’s been quite the desert in strategy guide releases since about April, but we’re slowly coming out of the drought. Trust me, this fall is going to be absolutely insane. It’s going to be so wonderful!

But what’s going on right now? The Last of Us Remastered releases next week, July 29th, and BradyGames has published another strategy guide just for this edition. The guide includes all of the first strategy guide for that dirty, PS3 version, and for the first time, all of the DLC will have a BradyGames-quality strategy guide as well! It’s the ultimate collector’s item for a fan of The Last of Us.

BradyGames has kindly offered one to us to give away, and if you are interested, here’s the scoop on how to do so.

This contest will be on the website only. No Twitter, no Facebook, it’s all right here, and entering is very simple.
