Quantum Break Strategy Guide Review

April 20, 2016 By Keri Honea Leave a Comment

Quantum Break strategy guide reviewWhen I was reviewing Quantum Break for work, I said to myself more than once that I would love for their to be a strategy guide for the game, simply for the collectibles. There are an incredible amount, and while most are relatively simple to find, just as many are rather hidden. Or, as I discovered, can only be found when you make certain choices. So I was rather elated when I learned that Prima was in fact releasing such a strategy guide for the masses.

Unfortunately, when I opened the book, I was rather disappointed with all it contained. Or should I say, what it didn’t contain. Sadly, my first impressions didn’t really improve as I used it in my second playthrough of the game.

Unboxing the Quantum Break Strategy Guide

April 6, 2016 By Keri Honea Leave a Comment

It’s always a good day when a new strategy guide arrives, and today that book is the Quantum Break strategy guide. Or, as I should say, Quantum Break: The Secret History of Time Travel, as that is what the book is entitled.

So yes, it’s here, and what does it have for those looking to get that 100%? Well, this is what I can tell from first impressions:

Full review should be coming in the next week or so. If you’re playing Quantum Break, I hope you’re enjoying it. It’s definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.

Hyrule Warriors Legends Collector’s Edition Strategy Guide – Why Buy?

March 30, 2016 By Keri Honea Leave a Comment

The 3DS version of Hyrule Warriors is finally out—Hyrule Warriors Legends—and that means a new strategy guide is out too. There is only the Hyrule Warriors Legends Collector’s Edition strategy guide available for the 3DS game, and if you already own the first game on the Wii U or even the strategy guide, you may wonder why bother picking up this one as well. I know not everyone is as crazy as I am for all things Zelda.

I unboxed the new strategy guide and compared it to the original guide for the Wii U. There are some stark differences, one being thickness. Check it out below.

I do apologize for how out of it and how out of breath I am in the video. In case you were curious, stomach flu is the absolute worst.

LEGO Marvel’s Avengers Handheld Strategy Guide Review

March 9, 2016 By Keri Honea Leave a Comment

As promised, I sat and reviewed Prima Games’ eGuide for LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, as this was the only way to find a strategy guide for the handheld version of the game. While I loathed the handheld version, something I state way too much in this video, the strategy guide for the most part did what it could to help players get through the ridiculous collectibles in the game. I don’t mean that the number was ridiculous; I mean the types of collectibles themselves were ridiculous.

Without further ado, I present my thoughts on the handheld portion of the LEGO Marvel’s Avengers eGuide.

Street Fighter V Strategy Guide Review

March 8, 2016 By Chris Nitz Leave a Comment

Street Fighter V strategy guide reviewUnlike my Fallout 4 strategy guide review, I was much faster at taking on the Street Fighter V strategy guide. You might have noticed on our Facebook page that I was pretty happy with how this guide was turning out. Well, that hype has not dwindled. Prima Games did a really nice job on this strategy guide. It’s seriously packed with a wealth of information that players of any skill level will appreciate. You can see the full review below!
