Legend of Zelda Collector’s Edition Boxed Set Unboxing

As soon as I heard Prima Games announce they were selling a boxed set of collector’s editions of The Legend of Zelda strategy guides, I was all over that preorder faster than either of my next-gen consoles. While I may own a couple of these strategy guides already, I had zero problems purchasing them again with a few collector’s editions that had never been released before.

Without further adieu, here is what you can find in this monstrous boxed set of boxed sets.

I’m going to need more reinforced bookshelves.

Am I showing off in this post? Most definitely. I love getting things in the mail, no matter if I purchased them or not, and I was overwhelmed at the sheer number of high quality books that came in this week’s deliveries.

I haven’t decided which I’m keeping, which are going out for review, and which will take part in a fantastic new giveaway. A few have been decided, but not all. I wish I could play everything, but alas, my clone machine still isn’t up to snuff.

Unboxing the Portal 2 Collector’s Edition Strategy Guide

Check out what the FedEx deliveryman brought me! It’s the Portal 2 Collector’s Edition Strategy Guide fresh from FuturePress, and it looks fantastic.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to get a review copy or not, so I picked up the regular edition at my local Best Buy since the CE is easily available in the US. My eagerness in picking up a guide is your gain! Unboxing the Epic Mickey Collector’s Edition Strategy Guide

Epic Mickey had its huge, official splash at E3 this year, and the Disney Interactive booth was covered in artistic renderings from Epic Mickey. Since it was a Wii game, you knew it couldn’t look as artistically amazing as this, but they obviously wanted to tout the artisticness of the game, meaning the use of Mickey’s paintbrush. Prima Games captured this artistic feel with its Collector’s Edition covers (front and back) alone, and then while flipping through the guide, I found that they did the same with the content.
