The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind Strategy Guide Review

I finally have my Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind strategy guide review completed! I gotta say that this is one of the better MMO strategy guides that I have had the pleasure of reviewing. I mean, it wasn’t just maps and basic info. This one actually contained some useful tips and got me through the Morrowind expansion. Pretty cool. I only wish I had a guide to help me plow through all of ESO, but I don’t so I guess I’ll have to rely on the internet for that.

Bonus points to me for reviewing this while the solar eclipse was happening…and a thunderstorm was rolling through. That timing game…so good.

Gears of War 4 Strategy Guide Review

I know this is QUITE the timely review, but here I am with a Gears of War 4 strategy guide review. I just finished the game last week, and I hope to get more on the ball with guides in 2017. Starting off with a 2016 strategy guide just seems the best way to do it. So here it is, Gears of War 4, in all of its chainsaw ripping glory. The game was a bit of a disappointment, but at least the strategy guide was not. I’ll take it.

DOOM Strategy Guide Review

Without a doubt, DOOM is my shooter of the year for 2016. Bethesda and id have done so much to get back on track with the Doom franchise, and DOOM does exactly that. It hits all those lovely nostalgic notes all while keeping the gameplay fast and fresh. I cannot wait for the inevitable sequels to come. That said, however, how does the DOOM strategy guide stack up in comparison?

The DOOM strategy guide does a lot well, but a few things frustrated me too much to give the overall guide that perfect score. Actually, in that regard, it’s a lot like the video game itself. Our DOOM strategy guide review goes over all of that, and I try not to talk too quickly. I think I failed in that regard.

And ignore the page torn out of the book. Toddlers and strategy guides just don’t mix. There’s your PSA of the day, folks.

Far Cry Primal Strategy Guide Review

I have had the fantastic opportunity to review some very amusing games lately. Fortunately, one just so happened to line up with a strategy guide that I could cover in my first ever strategy guide video review. There are several pieces of the Far Cry Primal strategy guide that are constructed very solidly. However, by virtue of it being an open world game, the organization of the guide itself needed to be a bit more open-ended. That is where the problems began…

There are quite a few things to discuss about the guide itself, both good and bad, so I will let my review speak for itself.

Far Cry Primal Collector’s Edition Strategy Guide – Why Should I Buy?

Okay, so I should have realized before recording that this is the only print version of the Far Cry Primal strategy guide. That right there is enough reason to buy the Far Cry Primal Collector’s Edition strategy guide. But!

Is that enough reason to buy it? I mean, with a title like Collector’s Edition, you’d expect more than your average guide, and I don’t mean just a pretty hardcover. Let’s take a look, shall we?
